Learning Links for English/Language Arts, ELD & SPED:
Learning Links are online professional development modules that are site-facilitated (approximately 3 hours).

Using Student Data to Inform Instruction for Grades K-12 (Fall 2017)

In this Learning Link, participants will examine student data at the district and site levels, discuss holistic and analytic findings, and identify specific content and/or skills to be addressed to support all students to succeed.

  • Agenda for Learning Link (1 copy per teacher)
  • Role Cards (1 copy per small group)
  • Meeting Norms (1 copy per small group)
  • Using Student Data to Inform Instruction: Data-Driven Dialogue Worksheet (1 copy per teacher)
  • IWA 2016-17 Average Analytic and Holistic Scores Report (1 copy per teacher - hard copy included in Principal's packet; also available on Data Disk)
  • IWA 2016-17 School Report: Holistic Scores by Performance Levels (1 copy per teacher - hard copy included in Principal's packet; also available on Data Disk)
  • Practice IWA Materials: Prompt, Pre-Writing Activities, Reading Selections and Rubric (1 copy per teacher)
